About Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie.

I have spent more than a decade helping people get stronger. And the longer I coach, the more convinced I am that the most important part is not finding the perfect program.

It is knowing how to coach the person doing it.

Why I coach

Strength changed what I believed was possible.

My path into coaching started when my brother lost his leg. Watching him rebuild his strength, independence and confidence changed the way I looked at fitness.

Strength was not just about a workout or what someone looked like. It could change what a person believed they were capable of.

That idea has stayed with me ever since.

More than a program

People need different things at different times.

Over the years I have coached people across a wide range of ages, abilities and goals. That experience taught me not to force every person through the same process.

Sometimes you need a better program. Sometimes you need better recovery. Sometimes you need to eat more, push harder, back off or simply stop changing what is already working.

What I am training for

A body that lets me keep saying yes.

I want to hike farther. Carry my pack. Lift heavy things. Get outside. Ride horses. Take the trip. Try the thing that looks hard.

That is what strength means to me.

Not chasing some perfect version of fitness. Building a body that gives me more options for my life, not fewer.

Education + credentials

I take the craft of coaching seriously.

My education spans strength, movement, nutrition, women’s physiology, health coaching and behavior. I use that knowledge as a toolbox, not a template.
